Adrian Community Education

The Adrian Public School’s mission is to provide to provide a safe, supportive environment that allows all students to learn.  Community Education is an extension of the district’s mission to provide opportunities for our students and community members to engage in learning and fun activities outside of the hours of operation. 

Community Education offers evening classes throughout the year on various topics, summer rec opportunities, after school Dragon Adventures, Driver’s Education and more!

 OCTOBER 18 – Death, Probate, and Taxes Oh My at 6 pm in the high school library. This Estate Planning 101 covers the basics everyone should know about estate planning. Learn how to avoid probate, taxes and other estate problems in a fun and relaxed classroom setting. Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney, Cassandra Lustfield, will teach the class about Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, Living Wills and more!  Register by emailing Molly Schilling (m.schilling@isd511.net) or calling 507-827-0904. This is a FREE event.

 

OCTOBER 29 – Freezer Meal Workshop at 9 AM – Join us in the HS FACS room to make the following freezer meals: Bacon Cheeseburger Totdish, Honey BBQ Crockpot Chicken, Asian Vegetable Noodle Bowl, Cheesy Potatot & Ham, King Ranch Chicken Soup, Breakfast Burritos, and Monster Cookie Protein Bowls. Maximum of 12 participants – register by emailing or calling Molly Schilling (m.schilling@isd511.net) or 507-827-0904. Once registered, Brittany Weidert will send you the grocery list. *There is some prep work such as browning hamburger for example prior to the event. Cost is $35 per person.
